Char deleted

i created a character on my account and logged off to make some tea and when i logged back on again it was deleted and i cant have the same name as last time, is this a bug?

Apparently it is a bug. They just brought the servers down to deal with character deletion and duping issues, but you probably know that already.

They just took down the game to work on this and other stuff as well. But samething happened to me.... started a new guy, logged out for a few mins got back on and he was gone. But this should be fixed soon.

Have lost 4 characters so far today, plus gear and money, upon logout. The server coming down annoucement said they were addressing the issue of char saves.

No idea if lost items or money will be returned. Perhaps it is impractical or against policy, like other games??? Who knows?. Of course, paying customers have policies too
