Launch difficulties...

I installed SoR and DLed all the patches required, and now when try to log in it goes through the patch check thing then a window pops up saying SoR needs to re-launch. I click ok and the program just shuts down. I re-open it and try to log in again and I get the same thing... Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong??????
