There is somthing afecting the Matis king.
A proclaimation of racial war is entirely out of character for him.
I will fight in Jena's army to eradicate Ma-Duk the soulstealer, and to destroy the Kami thugs that oppress us.
I will not be apart of a racial war of conquest over Atys.

While the Matisian people have an important duty, to provide guidance and leadership to our brethren throughout Atys, forcing the unwilling through bloodshed and violence seems such an ignorant, Fyrosian, way to go about it.
Surely our cause is better served by diplomacy and joint efforts, where the qualities of our people can shine out and enlighten those who have displayed a willingness to work with us.
Our alliance with the Tryker has been stressed by these words attributed to our King, which is a tragic consequence of such harsh rhetoric. Personally, I hold the Trykers I have met in the highest regard, and will not see them belittled.
If the powers behind the Kami and the Karavan have chosen to bring their disagreements into our lands, then we shall all suffer. To me this calls for greater unity, not division.
