Broken version of Klients linked on support page

I made many efforts to get the version of Klients chat linked to on the support page (http://www.ryzom.com/?page=support_tools) working. However, I always ended up with the a scrolling "only registered users ..." message. My .ini file did not have the two lines:

MtpChat Login=xxxxxxxxxxx
MtpChat Password=xxxxxxxxxxx
.

However, when I downloaded the old version linked at http://ryzom.com/data/Klient/chat.players.ee.zip

it worked right away. I am using windows XP SP2.

Those two links end up at the same spot.

I just downloaded them and compared. There is no difference as they are the same file.

Very odd indeed. I downloaded and tested the support page link three times and then used the ee link. Maybe the fourth time is the charm.

I agree that the files appear to be identical. Perhaps I'll rerun the experiment.
