Re: Hey :)
Hi, hope you have a great time. Enjoy the scenery and look forward to a few months at least of exploration before you feel completely familiar with the world.

dont be alarmed by the lack of people when you first log in if its quiet you are actually on a starter island where all lowbies start out its a bit more busy when you move to the mainlands
try to get melee skill to atleast 20 before leaving the starter island and make sure you always buy your con/str/balance/metaboism skills at the fighter trainer then you wont have much trouble when you reach the mainland
invest in a good weapon/armour as soon as you can afford it as the investment now will be worth it you can boost yourself up a few lvls and make the cash back you spend on it

Re: Hey :)
Welcome
A couple pointers. You might want to read a bit of the lore before creating your character, but bear in mind that even though you chose one race for a certain character, you do not have to follow the mainstream.
Also stay on the starter island until you feel comfortable with the gameplay( most reckon around lvl 20).
And finally, for more specific information, the beginner's guides posted lower are really good.
Enjoy your stay.

LOL - Hey, yourself! Welcome to Ryzom. All kinds of info is here on the forum; happy reading! However, if/when you get in a bind, you can /tell <insert name> anybody on the mainland if you can't get help on the starter island. Make a list of people you see here on the forums for their ingame names and be a little patient for replies since you won't be able to tell if they're AFK or got their hands full atm.methuen1 wrote:New player, found this game on a site, thought id give it a whack !
