And that is obviously why they have played it this way...

Rumour mongering generates alot of interest, it sparks players imaginations and the story tists a little more. Its called adding interest and excitement to the game.

Raynes, there have been events running for weeks, the content is there. I havent seen you at one single event

In my opinion the fact that no one is that clear on what happened makes it better!

The rumours that will spread lead to more excitment and more intrest.

And as for RP its a "secret" why would everyone be invited?

hm, no, what I mean is... The only "summary" of what was said at the meeting has been:

"Jena and her army are coming to Atys to take over"

I'm looking at a screenshot I took of the speech (no I wasn't invited, no I wasn't there, yes I saw the /shouts) and that's a pretty drastic oversimplification of what was said. For one thing it doesn't even mention anything about *who* exactly organised the meeting (I mean more specifically that the Guild of Elias), how they got hold of the power to teleport people where they liked, how they had what could be described as an "army" of guards (by the way, if any of them are reading this, you scared the monkies out of me after you TPd everyone else out ), whether any proof was given, and what the situation with regards to the Kami is going to be.

Oh, and if it was supposed to be secret, why did they tell you to tell everyone about what happened?

Ps, I'm amazed I haven't seen the words "Look to the skies" on the forums yet Jy

Also, for the record... I can understand why they did it as they did, and I think it was probably the best thing to do, but I doubt raynes is going to be back so I'm covering his arguments for him

I'm quitting because it sucks that they think it's ok to hold events for certain individuals of the game. People are saying it was more convincing to have a secret meeting where they told some players and those players were to spread the word? B.S.

They could of very easily had a NPC stand in the middle of Zora and tell everyone that same thing. The message would of got out, everyone would be included, and there would be much more excitement. Instead they choose to invite a handful of people.

I just gave everything I had away in game, I have transferred leadership of the Kult of Kami to Luquido, and I have deleted the charater Raynes (so if you want the name, go make a character). I am finished with this game.

Yea and telling everyone i a big ceremony would have fit the lore so well.

God forbid we the players have to actually get involved and spread the word and help things happen instead of relying on the CSRs to do it all for us. God forbid any of us actually get involved and help story along.

Oh no! Players have to share info and make things interesting and not have it handed to them on a silver platter.
