Outposts, thats it, and on those at least we do have a good idea how far along they are.

Nevrax is very limited in what they can do due to size. I have no doubts they are working as best as they can to get their new ideas into game, they want it as much as you do.

I'm totally open to filling the forum with suggestions, but when it starts filling with complaints.... that have been heard 1000 times.... well, that's when other people start to get annoyed from having to listen to it.
i also hate to break it to you but people complaining about lack of comunication has alrdy got a new forum started where we can get better info on whats planned if no one had complained about that it woulndt have been added so its about time someone said something instead of leaving another leaving post and going off to another game

Heh, Diggin is right.

But get this, those complains were actually done by all of us, even the one that you want to call 'fanbois', in the patch feedback and jessica personal thread, and it's a fresh criticism (not repetitive), and easily fixable, so they fixed it.

As for coding, well, coding is coding, no matter how much you want them to, the code won't code themselves.

Their size is not an excuse. I've been bothered by this for sometime. They have said they had to do spring cleaning, to rewrite things to get us content quicker. I find it very hard to beleive that in the many years of research and development they failed to take into account that players would want missions and content updates on a regular basis. I find it even more difficult to beleive that they didn't write the game so that new rites and missions could be added at least every month.

Just because these things aren't here yet doesnt mean they are coming. Patience is a virtue!

Priorities 1st for the devs, such as making sure the outposts really are top notch before even putting them on the ATS. If they are put on without proper internal testing and are REALLY buggy then the job of the ATS is worthless because it will only have to go back to internal testing.

Blimey!! If we knew of the massive task thats at hand here and how much work it has taken to get to this point!

I can assure you that if nevrax were taken seriously at E3 by top gaming authorities then they haven't employed lazy part-time burger flippers. They are a obviously a professional company with professionals onboard.

If i was to make a bet right now i would say the devs are working pretty much "hammer and tongs" (aka bloody fast!) right now.

Looks more like waving and/or electric to me.

Not every weapon we have gets burning and the different races seem to be able to apply effects to different weapons.

Maybe its a zorai or tryker one.

So they messed up. They admit it too. Guess they should pull the plug on the whole thing because things didn't go as planned.

(They are trying to fix it, at least I think they are)

Think back to when Ryzom came out, it was in a race against the big boys putting out their new versions.

With my all-seeing and all-knowing powers I rather suspect that Ryzom's last development stage was somewhat rushed, due to financial considerations and worry about these other games, which lead to errors and poor structure creeping in so that the game could be gotten Out There quickly.

Mistake, being corrected, how about that?

No there is the encylopedia. From and interview on Feb 27, 2005

Daniel Miller: The encyclopedia is composed of a number of albums, each of which contains a number of articles. The articles reveal knowledge, legends, and the history of Atys, secrets of the past previously kept by the Knowledge Keepers, and now accessible to players who take on the challenges of the ritual missions. Players can also obtain new original stanzas by completing the ritual missions, and by collecting all the articles in an album, a player will gain a special title and access to special missions.
