Heh, it's just a zoom and camera angle trick. (go from first person mode to third and it'll track out to your zoom distnant). If you slow mode right near the beginning (or pause), you'll see me sitting on my butt.

For going way up in the air ... long zoom distant and swinging the camera.

What's up with the music in the goth party vid? I don't know whether it's something on my machine, but the music keeps jumping around

Those were the actual music ingame from the streaming server, it was what everybody was listening to during the party. For some reason FRAPS recorded it as part of the game music also.

So when I edit all the footage (unedited would have left it about half an hour long!), musics get chopped and chunky.

The fraps setting "what i hear" is propably what you used, it will record any sound on your PC, like winamp, ventrilo, and such.
