But, from their email, and I hope this isn't a spoiler and I am not violating any personal ettique here, they mentioned an expansion called "The Ryzom Ring".

Speculate away!

Three things come in my mind when reading this.

1) A (server ring) like we know it from Quake ( Which implies the possibility of custom maps indeed)

2) A ring around a planet ( Yesterday was the first time where i recognized that the huge planet with the ring is a broken one. Most of the time one can not see the whole planet, cause of the canopee and the clouds. Yesterday was a clear night and in resting water is a place where no canopee is hiding anything. This planet is brocken and it has a ring. Is this the destroyed home of the Karavan ? Did the crash of the planet generate the ring ? Is the ring connected to the Goo ? We know the Goo is it what made the kitins that huge !)

3) I might be worng, but i think i remember some biology class. Many mushrooms grow in a circle (ring) around their rizom .

On aniro we name the ring planet of ours skys Sagaritis, do you have a name for it?

And the ryzom ring.... Would we now more about The Ryzom? We had speculate that it was a galactical System of Transport (as the karavan's teleporteur's (sorry if it isn't the English world ^^), so Would it be a new planet? as you said we can speculate.

Ep, ryzom staff, hurry, We want to now What you have to announce at the E3 !!!
