Event PVP

I was just looking through old patch notes and saw the following in patch 36 I think it was:

"*The PvP faction (during events only): *
. This PvP takes place in a single region during events.
. Every player who enters this zone must choose a side or remain neutral.
. This PvP allows players to participate in conflicts generated by the unfolding of the Saga.
. When you enter a PvP area, and choose a faction (Kami or Karavan for instance), your fame with the faction you haven't choose will decrease to -1 if the fame of the faction you chose was greater than 0, or to one point lesser than the fame of the faction you chose if this one was already less than 0."

That's from December 2004. I've been playing a few months now, but have never seen this used.

Maybe it was used before I joined or for some event that I wasn't online tio participate in.

Just curious, anyone know if it's ever been used?

I think it was (is) bugged, it was fame related and caused some problems for some people, with verry dramatic changes in ones fame (I think 1 was so ticked off he left)

Although with the current implementation it is not possible to be positive fame with both factions and participate in a manner besides nuetral without adversely affecting your fame with your opposition.
