That's my experience too, though I've never tested it. Izams, igaras, ybers, all seem to have high magic resistance. Actually, mostly every herbivore seems to have decent magic resistances. When I was training elemental alone, I always preferred hunting predators, plants, or kizoars.

-Only other dmg type i can use is cold, it has the same resist rate but they seem to have alot of cold absorb, only does about half the dmg
-amp is 95 speed 66 power, decent enough id say, better than 71/71 that seems to be a common ele amp
-havent tried concentrate, but it only says that helps on spell breaks, ie if you are getting hit
-The mobs are lower lvl than i am, and only gives 1k xp a kill (started at 2k'ish)

Try doing plants...their dmg is magic...at least stinga is. They'll still resist you but you'll resist them too. Anyway, that what I soloed on up to 130 lvl.

Both the Armas and the Kizoars should resist much less than the Igara in my experience. Especially the Kizoars. As sidusar said bird seem to resist elem magic more than most.

Dew Drops is all 50-100

Psykopia in zorai and Stinga in Tryker do less damage than the other plants and are easier to hunt. yes there are psykopia in Matis too, but I havent found them as plentiful, in zorai i have found neverending supplies

Speaking of messed up resist rates

Shockwave doesnt have the benefit in lakelands that the other spells do in their homelands, at least as far as i can tell.

I think i'm right because i get vastly different efects with fire in fyros of electricity in zorai than i do with shockwave in lakelands on teh same creatures

if im wrong that is it unintentional then ouch trykers are zinged again!!!

Stingas in Dew Drops are great for lvling ele of your lvl, just make sure you use rot. Also, i usually find that if i spend a while healing in a team, they are happy to support me while i attempt to blast away and get an ele lvl too.
Currently lvl 95 ele and find vampirism is great if soloing cloppers as they resist very little and i get hardly any downtime.
