Insecure forum login

Is the login to this fourm really insecure? If so, is this really a good idea to have to use the account info for the game to access the forums? Or am I just being overly apprehensive?

While it does concern me so, vBulletin's login system is known to be very secure. Better to be safe than sorry though.. We are paying customers after all.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong - but...
AFAIK if you change your password in this forum, you change it only here, not ingame. This could be an option to go safe not to reveal your real account password...

Despite of that, didn't see any https:// url for a forum for a LONG time... I don't see why it should be different here.
