Install error need help wanna play!
Hi i downloaded the 14 day trial 2 times and about right around the end this error pops up ~~~>some installation files are corrupt. Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation hmm well if anyone can help me that would be great looks like a sick game
Re: Install error need help wanna play!
Have you scanned your system for viruses and spyware lately?
Also use a download manager that resumes transfers after a glitch.
You could also try disabling your antivirus until after the file is completely downloaded and then scan the file.
Just a few things to try

You can also get this message if your system memory is not functioning fully well. It's a very hard thing to detect, but the Ryzom installation is memory intensive and it might be worth fiddling with the mem sticks in your system.
If you do fiddle with the sticks tho, please be aware that merely touching these things can damage them. So take all proper precautions (use anti-static wrist straps, work mat, and do not wear anything that generates static).
There are also memory diagnostic software out there that might let you know of issues. These diag programs aren't always conclusive tho.
And yes, I had this issue. Diagnostic did not say anything was wrong with my mem, but swapping out mem with known good chips resolved the installation and it was later determined that 1 of my sticks was defective (only through use and testing could I verify it).
