Post by amcyr »

Production : In-house test on the outposts have started ! by Xavier Antoviaque (May 4, 2005)
Today, we have started the in-house tests of the outposts. I had a look on the testing team while they were at it - I can't wait to play with it myself. :)

Stay tuned - more about it soon. ^-^

that's some mean looking programmers!

I would like to know approximate guesstimate timeframe for in-house testing if you can, Xavier.

What was it you said, 3 weeks before throwing it on the ATS?

So the difference is that when those storm tropps meet UT mercenaries come to Ryzom the karavan is gonna run like a bunch of chickens and the Kami will pour all their energy in guerilla tactics and all out warfare. It's the truth, they say they are gonna run away with all you "faithful karavan".

I was bit hoping that inhouse testing would have taken place before ''preparing the introduction of an early version of the outposts on the Advanced Test Server''.

Hope it hits ats soon though :)

if you read xaviers articles you would see that they intend to test inhouse for 2-3 weeks, and if that goes well they will b introduced to the ats.. that's fairly clear i think, unlike your comment?

I have read them and they are not clear at all about this issue. Check it yourself.

I was merely hoping that inhouse testing was over or in progress when last glimpse was published.

According to last time estimate, internal testing phase could have been finished by the time of last glimpse.
