People are allowed to come in here and share the performance issues they have had. I basically came in here to just offer my comparison of the lag performance and how effected me. (in that it seemed to get worse after whatever they did Friday in that patch)

The worst people in a community beside forum trolls are people who feel they need to be forum police telling people how they should and shouldnt act. Dont let it happen to you. Some of what you said may be true in regards to some comments of the people here (like the person asking for a official response) but its something that I dont think really needs to be said by you, me or anyone else.
Yikes, I see that you are correct!
Sometimes, actually all the time, on message boards, for MMORPG and games in general, you see the exact same patterns, with the exact same responses to the exact same posts for the exact same problems... you get my drift I hope, and something really good like SOR comes along and you wish those types of things would go away. I dislike forums, but I love this game!

EDIT
Oopsie, I meant to mention we were given ample warning the server was coming down. I wasn't upset, even if I wasn't dead tired. I could tell by the region chat that people were going to come here and mention it, i guess it bothered me.
If the lag kept happeneing at the same time everyday for a long period of time I would start to wonder if anyone knew what they were doing.
END EDIT

Like you say the last thing I want is to be "onPatrol".

I apologize for my generalization, you damn Trolls, you know who you are;P

another edit
I shouldn't be posting, I am still tired lol

Now, I love SoR and all, and it pains me to say it. But the last time I've seen rubberbanding this bad, was in Shadowbane. Maybe give them a call and see how they resolved the issue? :D

But in all seriousness, I'm (we're) rootin' for ya to get a fix on this =)

Unfortunetley i heard alot of people today talking about dropping already. =(
Due to horrible lag problem. In a way I cant blame them. Noone wants to play a game that doesnt work. I know the devs can pull this together. Hopefully they will change servers. Take widimeer and drop if off the top of a building.

People are going to drop this already? If so, then they really don't like the game. A lag issue that occurs at the same time for one weekend has convinced them to drop this otherwise good game? I guess I just have more patience and enjoy the game more than these people you speak of.

Ah well, to each their own.

I love the game and I'm having a very hard time keeping my cool. The game is unplayable due to excessive lag. It shouldn't matter if it's a weekend, Christmas, or Easter the game is broken they need to fix it yesterday.

DEVS -- As this happened after the "hardware upgrade" patch to windermeer, why not revert the server to the state it was in before that (working fine) so that we can play till you get the changes from that patch fixed?

I love the game too. I am willing to give the devs some time to figure out the true problem, then to fix it. In the meantime, I will still play and not be affected too much by the lag. Then again, I am not on the mainland yet, so I am sure my ability to deal with lag is affected by that fact as well.
