Server down?

Okay. According to the Ryzom website, Arispotle is up. If I try to get into the game, I get "Please wait" and have "Probe" for a server state, with no game. I get into the forums, and see 2 threads about server downs, but they're both closed, so I can't even type into them.

The server is going to go down, from time to time. It's just part of mixing imperfect humans with electronics. The problem I'm having here is a big lack of info. The server, so far as I can tell, *isn't* there for me, yet according to the forums, I'm the only one who's down. It's just odd to me that I can get to the rest of the net, and play other games without any real trouble, yet I'm unable to get into this game. The irritating part is that there isn't any word about why the service isn't working, or when it may be back.

The server rebooted itself and was back within minutes. Please use the Klients live chat for speedy information - we do not look at the forums when trying to make sure things are up and running.
