Favorite harvesting spots

Anybody have some? I'm just now starting to develop my harvest tree, so I thought I might ask.

Since I've been only neewb zone until today I can only say that I was looking for spots where those pesky &%$§" Yubos wherent running around myself ALL the time and getting into my targeting the source constantly.

I crafted my first gun ONLY to shoot these critters during focus recovery until i noticed the price tag on ammo....but thats another story

EDIT: I should provide an answer too. Well in newb zone it doesnt make sense to search in remote corners (if they exist) for mats. I found basic Q10 up to fineQ20 easily in a 50-100 m circle around the camps and choiceQ20 a bit farer away but still in sight of the camp. Also I noticed that in newb zone the best spots where definitely NOT in aggro range of mob spawning points (or I was just very lucky all of the time )

The far away spots are the places to harvest the mission stuff thats useless for crafting and atm these missions are broken( someone correct me if I am wtrong since i didnt try these for 4 days now).

I haven't been able to find any good harvesting spots around pyr other than the ever plentiful amber.

I have my favorite area around Pyre... i even have a reliable "excellent" mats source... but given the difficulty that goes into finding an "excellent" mats source that has an easily predictable availability time frame (it's not always available) and is stable enough with my skill sets for me to pull from all day long.... I'm not willing to give up the info to anyone but guild mates...

Yep, for myself I have my 'special areas', and to be honest, if your not in a guild, chances are no one will share taht information with you. Its like discovering a gold mine and telling everyone where it is... no sane person would do it

Well, alright. Don't give away your favorite, but just some good ones then. To narrow it down for me, I'm playing Matis, although I might try some other races in the future.

Alright, heres a good one.. find the tree with the leaves, dig under it


And yes, thats supposed to be a hint.. becasue nearly any tree will have somethign near/around it, sometimes... might be unlucky if you cant find anything

You will quickly find that the fun of harvesting is finding it yourself too. You will come across these spots, and hope no one is watching you.
Don't ignore the Care actions.
What I wonder is how long before a depleted and/or destroyed source returns.
Does anyone know that?
