I liked the mass swarming of the nest too, despite the dp it was a pretty fun event. We should get together for desert stock soon :)

One thing though: My team, and I know a bunch of other people, had no idea that the mission was accomplished. We thought we were giving up when we set off for Zora @_@. I don't know if I just missed it in region or what.

After the trek part through to Pyr, it kinda just broke up as people went to work off DP's. So led someone to Zora with who we had left, and for all that had happened, was the most hassle free part of it hehe.

Highlights really were the sight of all the players charging in, and the carnage that commenced. Not seen that many yellow dots on a radar at one time.

Apologies for all the DP's that happened, and hope all that were there had a good time.

Ill go back to the drawing board before attempting an event like that again, which most of you will happy to hear :P

It really was too ambitious for my first event, so hopefully i can create something in the future that is more fun for all involved :)
No need to apologize Martin. DP should be expected at an event such as this.

I haven't had this much fun in the game for a very long time. It is a pity I crashed on the way to Pyr. Nevertheless I do believe we proved our point that we are a formidable foe and will not be easily intimidated by the Kitin. With what we have learned this time I would hope we will be even more awesome in future similar events. Thanks for the fun!

I expect to max my dp out on treks and events, so I plan for that. What caused me to leave it after the Tunnel of Woe was not getting DP, it was simply that I was not in a mood to watch people blaming each other in region for DP. I took a nice walk outside, did some gardening, and came back to the game (but not the event) in a much more positive frame of mind :)

Perhaps we need our illustrious order of the blue snake leaders to post a thread of "Does and don'ts for player run treks & events" sort of like the one PF had up for a while, and make it a sticky thread here. One thing besides "do NOT loot the mobs" that should be in there... DO expect DP and DO NOT complain about it. The object of most player-run and other events is to set up and face a challenge greater than the pull kill pull daily grind of leveling, and to get a huge group of players together for a common purpose.
