I hope this thread has now served its purpose.

United we can make the game a great experience for all the players, new and old.

We are here to play the game and enjoy it.

There are a number of posts in here that should be read more than once and the advice in them should be transferred to the real world, it would make it a much better place to live.

My intention, as always, is unity of the races and community.

Sometimes however you have to stand up and say something, that makes everyone think.

Compare todays forums with yesterdays!

I take no credit for the change, its is all down to you.

My concerns have always been for the 'readers' of the forums the ones that sit quietly absorbing the information here.

Its made me very proud to see some of the 'infrequent' posts fight with such passion.

I have supported the merge since the start and in game it was a huge success. We just needed a little time to make this place just as fun to be in.

Keep it game related and impersonal and we wont go wrong.

Yep we Wayfarers have some folks amongst us that are less than charming, but then again the same can be said of some of the "native" Arispotlians (as I learned first hand in-game yesterday). And, yes, when you take two cultures and throw them together all at once... shaken, not stirred... that can yield to a good deal of stress and annoyance, at least until the melting pot has had a chance to melt.

Perhaps if you can focus on the little positive things that came your way with the addition of we gaijin, it will help get you through some of the negativity. E.g.: Having nice stuff on the in-game markets that wasn't available before, or specifically in the forum... hmm, welll, aelvana's avatar comes to mind there, as Dazman has already pointed out

You showed this yourself, Neun, when you and Layswan "got into it". I had to pick my jaw up off the desktop when I saw how y'all could settle a dispute without resorting to name calling.

I think nothing but good can come out of the merging of the European and American forums, which is why I'm not voting on this poll. It's like harnessing a new horse with more experienced ones - soon enough the new one is pulling with and not against and the new strength makes the task lighter. Have patience, please!, with us new ones and put the ones you can't stand on your ignore list if need be. As far as I'm concerned the merge was "all good". *considers lag at FH* Well, mostly all good.

I'm all for the merging of the servers & the forums. I am also aware of the possible next merges that may have to take place in order to keep Ryzom afloat.
I know that a number of French players played on Arispotle because, they said, the French server population was so juvenile.
If that is what we have to look forward to then be grateful for what we have.
