Transgender Play No. 2

Come in, pull up a chair, let's discuss all things Ryzom-related.

Why do you play a character of the opposite gender?

Something nice to look at while I'm playing.

More detail, for those who play the opposite sex.

Originally played Nineteen as a Female, for some thing nice to look at while playing.

However there were a number of other reasons.

I have traditionally played a Female char.

BorgUK9of9 in Planetside and many other games has been female in general.

Stems for a game called Worms, a long time ago. My friend and I were struggling to be invited into games. We created to female personalities. Built an entire 'background' for them. Full names, pictures, history .... the full monty! When I say they we queueing to invite us into their games, it was no word of a lie. The other players would even give us a head start and take it easy on us! (sexist pigs :P and female gamers we much rarer then)

We were a bit naughty and I learned a valuable lesson from this experience. We had got bored of the game, and told the community that one of the 'girls' had had a serious accident. You don't need to tell me how wrong this was, I know for myself, but I was young and foolish then. I follow the rules now and would never intentally hurt anyone. (Hope you can understand why I have mentioned this.)

Have fun and play fair!

Under what category would you class:

Wizards are always female since Diablo 2?

I choose "nice to look at" anyhow since that is my second reason.

Did the roleplaying part once and had fun with it, but it developed in a strange way so I take distance from that aproach these days.

Just re-read my posting and found it a bit angry sounding, which it was not intended to be.

So, my true answer to this question is I just prefer to play a female character, my friend says it might have something to do with my kind nature, which might be true to some point, but only as a minor factor.

Well I guess its mostly cos I love playing with peoples assumptions, I love seeing guys trying to chat me up....tho it has scared me when I say I'm a guy and they continue!!!

Tho kibs is also nice to look at, I like the RP challenge and I have had a girl/girl wedding *cough*

When I started playing, I created chars for every race. And had to choose between the male or the female Tryker. The male tryker just tends to look like ... sorry for this ... he has the Down Sydrome. No offence meant, just my warped observations.

Never played a female before and tbh, can be quite fun :D

also, I like to know how one suppose to act toward a player who is female but you know is male, or vice versa.

Do you often find yourself calling that player 'she', then switched to 'he', then back to 'she' at random? Do this make you feel weird? Does these 'shim' players disturb you? Do you just automatically assume that all toons are guys until they sey 'hugz'? I really want to know!

Oh, and I would like to read what you wrote grim for that TTwatchamachit.
