I just lost connection and now can select server (says its on) and accept eula, but its just sitting there at the connecting... screen right before char select. Anyone else having problems connecting to Arispotle?

I am having same problems.

Game stalled, did nothing, tried to reboot and now cant get back into game.

It just hags at start up just before character selection>

The game server itself is down.. will probably be back up soon.

While the server is down I am going to circumnavigate the globe on the back of a sea turtle... I think I can make it in time

It really seems like the server status page should know whether the server is up or down. There is a post in announcements that says arispotle is down and it sounds official. I find it hard to believe that the update on the status page isn't automated but I guess it's not. Also, this is the first time I've seen the Connecting.... last forever. On other server down occasions, I've gotten some sort of unable to connect error.

Not that I'm complaining or anything....

yes this is different than a usual server crash.
