Hey look!
It's been how long without a patch?
They patched the website? Is that like aiming at your target and hitting someone elses bullseye?
Actually my mistake, they are updating what they say is coming on a regular basis...
if you honestly consider adding a title for bare handed fighting a patch...
if you give nevrax props for having to merge the server and doing it successfully (kind of)
Where is my wall stanza?
Deleting characters/guilds might be a clever ruse on behalf of David. Perhaps he thinks that we will realize the strength of our bond with our characters... after all doesn't "absence make the heart grow fonder"?

Oh, you mean the various server side, stability and other bits don't count?amitst wrote:Hey look!

You only regard content patches as counting?

The above link explains why there have been no major content patches.
We the community have backed this by staying with the game. Those who didn't accept this or were not willing to wait till Chapter 3 is realase have either:
1. Going forever, never to return
2. Going to play something else and check back everynow and then
3. Stayed with the game and grumbled to themsleves
4. Stayed with the game and post misleading and inaccurate post base on no foundation of fact.
Re: Something more to consider
I agree with Jyud and Neun on this, from what I understand the devs are continuously working on stuff and the stability is up. And there are bug fixes often.
Just wait and the meaty stuff will come when its done

Re: Something more to consider
With the new patching system Nevrax is using now, it takes longer for a patch to reach the live servers (but it will contain less bugs). Switching from the old to the new style creates a gap in the patching progress, and it seems we are in the middle of it. The spring cleaning seems to take a bit to, but I think they are finalising it now.
Another thing I noticed is that new patches will be much more apart but will have more content in them (eg: bigger patches). Once we are out of the gap, and Nevrax completed its pring clean, I think we will see a new content update about every 3 weeks and weekly bugfixes.
Currently there are 20 new rites on ATS, if 3/4 of them make it to the live servers it will triple the amount of rites we can take, and thats not all during the upcoming months we are gonne see even more rites (a total of 70 new ones I believe).
Something major is also planned for the next months. Nevrax is keeping things quiet about it untill E3.

Well, In my opinion there were some major updates in the weeks after the launch ...
Anyway, you can look at things the positive way or the negative way. I think I just have to accept the fact that some people are pessimists.

pessimists get more work done, i prefer the term realist
but i would argue that im not a pessimist, if i was i would have left a long time ago

Just To let you Fanboys/Girls in on a little Secret I Have not Really Played this Game for more than a Few min Becase of The LACK OF CONTENT.
I Asked In A Q and A would the Spring Cleaning Slow Down/stop Content patches Xavier Said no no there will Be content updates (I am paraphrasing Btw). But just as i Feared it has come to pass we have had little to no updates in Content (JUST Bug FIXES)
Now Fanboys/girls yes the new way of testing is probally going to help in the long run "but you can't Drive a car with 1 gallon of gas, no oil, low water and 3 flat tires(all before is cureent state of Ryzom) and expext to make it across the country( Longjevity/fun facter of game) without new tires (more players), more gas (content of a average variety), oil (major content ex. outpost, rites, and oter major promises) and water (clean water Sign of no to low bugs)' and it is the short run that needs fixing Quick.
