True. You have no idea whats the status.dazman76 wrote:When your ticket/bug is fixed by a patch, sure. When it isn't, you have no idea what's happened to it, it's current status, whether it's being worked on, or whether it's even recognised as a bug.
I'm not sure about how can back-communication work. Scenarios:
1.- Guides and GM's need to contact you ingame about your ticket and tell you about status. If you are not happy about it, i see one long conversation comming. Do you like to get an tell ingame when you are buzy with something? I don't. Do they have time to speek with everybody who have send an bug or sugestion? Don't think so.
2.- Ticket system on web-server. There was one in first OB. Player send ticket, get an e-mail from nevrax with ticket number and URL of ticket system. In OB was no posible to log in there and see status. Some ppl don't like to get those auto-reply e-mails. I prefer to speek with SGM, GM or guide (last one are in most cases never sure is your ticket a bug or not). Do they have time to setup some bug tracking system like a bugzilla, trac or simular, like that database with ryzom one to allow us to login and see the bugs and manage that system? Again, don't think so.
Big problem here are people. i prefer to have no idea about status of my bug report and send it again later, then to see forum flaming like a "they said my bug is not a bug, they don't care about us, i'm leaving, Nevrax care less about players then Sony, devs have too big ego,...".
