Does strength effect carrying capacity?

if not then how do you get to carry more?

I do believe strength affects the weight you can carry. However, what you can carry is limited in three ways, weight, bulk, and number of inventory slots. I run into the bulk limitation (fixed at 300) mostly. Sometimes I run into the inventory slot limitation (not sure on the number). Very rarely do I run into the weight limitation but I did read that it goes up with your strength level.

So even though you may be able to carry more weight at higher strength, weight is usually not the limiting factor so it really doesn't matter much.

The only times I've run into the weight limitation before bulk is when I'm crafting and fill my whole bag up with armor or ammo or something.

Buy a packer or two and lets them run behind you. Each packer can carry 500 bulk. But you won't be able to use TP then (or you leave your packers behind)

Other then that. Buy an appartment and store your stuff there. Or just sell all the items you don't need.

You may want to be careful about having the packers run behind you all the time because they can be attacked and killed.

Guess you never tried to go hunting with launchers. LOL.

And in_topic:
1 mek packer - 500 bulk
1 mek mount - 100 bulk
1 appartament - 2000 bulk

Quite the contrary. If you read my post, you'd see that the times I said that I ran into a weight limitation was when crafting a lot of ammo or armor.

Hmm, silly me. I didn't realize it mattered if you crafted it or bought it, sold it or shot it. I thought the effect on your weight was the same.

Well, when craft you have to carry crafting tools for ammo, focus armor, degraded items and such. When you know you will have to go range-hunting you will sure remove the unnecesary items from inventory and keep only u strictly need: gun, hp+stamina armor and your best q/dmg ammo. Maybe a sword and amps for backup.
But this started as a joke and I have a feeling that will ends in an argue :)

Here's the trick I use. Don't carry the ammo, carry the mats, plus your ammo tool. Then just make a few batches at a time.
