What is BST?
Is the event happening twice?
8pm est is like 1am in england so it happening once would make people angry i think?
If 8pm bst is 3pm est then that would be awesome cause i could participate in the event and still spend friday night goin out...
im posting cause im guessing that other people might have the same question
im confused about fridays event start time
Re: im confused about fridays event start time
looking at the post its happening twice
BST is British Summer time (GMT+1) which is the time in the UK atm, central Europe (france etc) are one hour ahead of this (GMT+2) if it is 8pm BST then that is 3pm EDT (GMT-4).
EDT is East coast US, so I think a second go through of the event is happening at 8pm EDT??
So its happening in the evening UK time, then again in the evening US time from what I can read.
Hope that helps

Re: im confused about fridays event start time
thanks
that means the first run will be 2pm est(GMT-5)(or edt i dunno the difference) which is way too early, only people who dont have jobs could make both events....or i could take a holiday

EST is east coast U.S. in the winteramitst wrote:... 2pm est(GMT-5)(or edt i dunno the difference)
EDT is east coast U.S. in the summer
The few locales on the east coast that don't do day light savings are considered EST all year round.
Same for other U.S. timezones (CST/CDT, MST/MDT and PST/PDT).
