The reason for this delay is that our System Engineers are spending more
time than originally planned on duplicate character names. There is a considerable amount of duplicate character names across both servers, and the guys want to take the time to handle them properly and not rush just to match the deadline...
And since delaying it only for a few hours would get us to the middle of the night, we post-poned it to the next morning, to be able to deliver better
support once the server is open again.

We got an update in klients at about 8.15 uk time saying it should be up within the hour. They are doing some final testing on the server to make sure everything is hunky-dory

Yes they will need all resting time they could get, before opening the server again.
I really don't want to see anything goes wrong, because the technicians are to tired, and hit the wrong key.
And the should take their cup of coffee ( or tea ) before starting in a maybe troublesome after merge day.
