Encyclopedia Albums. (how can it work?)

"In addition, players who complete all the themes of an album earn an honorary title and will have access to special missions that offer corresponding rewards."

Just wonder what people make of this, from what i've seen so far in game and reading that i've got a few concerns.

An album contains missions from all races in some cases eg. resources of atys, so I would eaither need to let my faction fame rise and fall (ignoring any charcter concept) or restrict myself to certain tribes etc to get the required racial fame.

Then theres kami and karavan albums which will need a high faction fame if race rite missions are an indicator. My guy is Kami aligned, i had a character concept when i started playing and i've stuck to it. This is starting to look like a bad idea though as to get craft rites etc iam going to have to mess up my kami fame, miss out or spend very large ammount of time doing it in a way that doesnt effect my character concept.

A full craft album would be very impressive if it doesn't split into specific race weapons etc it's a lot of sp and time already and these are the easy rites.

Certainly dont expect this to be easy or short term but also unsure how this is going to work. Especially for people who already have high faction fame or are part of the RP community.

Heh, there is the "racial difference" everyone is claiming about !

Also some encyclo missions needs craft abilities i don't have. This is irritating, but well this is time to see differences between charachters

but i cant see how we are supposed to complete an album and stay loyal to our race/faction

only thing i can think of is theres something we havent seen yet, eg you dont need to do everything in an album. At this point in time if i try to repair my fame with the Tryker then the Tutors will take a dislike to me.

I know that there is a way to raise all civs fame equally, and also a way to raise both kami and karavan fames without affecting the other.

But I am not telling

A few hints to fame, find as many camps/tribes and missions givers as possible in all regions/lands. When doing missions, note which fames gets affected and in which direction.

If bored enough make one or more matrix and solve for optimal fame runs (works with mats in crafting too).

When will a more up to date list come out of which rites/encyclopedia entrys will show which entries can be cmopleted and which one can not be completed. Example the Creature of Atys, Ragus mission can not be completed.

Which other one also can not be completed??

That's the rub of choosing a faction. If you don't want to talk with the Kami/Karavan you aren't going to be able to gain their knowledge. People who are willing to listen to all sides, even if only briefly before they make an informed decision, should be able to complete the albums (once they are able to be completed). I will gain all the knowledge I can about everything I can, regardless of faction. Knowledge is our path to freedom.

There are 8 rites that can be completed atm.

This is an old post of mine it's not really relevent anymore in light of potential faction changes coming up.

My concern was keeping true to a character concept ie as a pro kami homin don't want to be gaining karavan fame but in order to complete an album as it stands you need tryker/matis rites which award Karavan fame.

It was a mater of principle, it didn't seem right to pick faction then have to fudge that choice in order to take part in the full encyclopedia. Hopefully this sort of thing will be worked out along with strange tribe fame issues.
