Hope all the North American players enjoy the increased population, it should allow for some interesting events at all hours of the day. And be nice to your friendly European GMs, even if they speak British instead of American. Fight the tyranny of pants! VIVA LA REVOLUTION!

GM Mintaka wrote: Hello Homins,
You have all been a great community and it has been a pleasure to get to know you all in my time as a GM of Ryzom. I have met a lot of great people and consider you guys the best community I've seen in MMOPRG's. Like many of you, I was saddened when I heard the news and I consider it an honor to have had the opportunity to work as a GM of this game. I wholeheartedly wish Nevrax success in all present and future projects. Jolt has a bunch of great guys and gals among them and I know you all will be in great hands. Farewell everybody and good adventures to you all.

GM/Events Shadowthorn wrote:I'd just like to say thanks from everyone. From my first day, this community has had some of the best people a support monkey could hope for. From Team Heph to watching huge zergs of you careen around when Takashi and I ran invasions to your surprised shrieks the day we assassinated Mynias, it's been nothing but fun. I thank you all for all the good times and hope we run into each other again.
GM/Events Manager Takashi wrote:My dearest homins,
As they say, all good things must come to an end. Alas, it has been too short as far as I am concerned, you have all made my experience as a Game Master and Events Manager more than just a job. It has been a great pleasure getting to know each of you, and despite the differences I've had with some, they have been as important in making my work mean something to me. It has been a good run and I am honored to have had the privilege of working with you all. There is no sense in leaving with anything less than a happy heart that, although not nearly as long lived as I may have liked, it was an unparalleled privilege to serve such a fine community. I know many of you more personally than others, and I regret not getting to know more of you this well.
To the special few that I have known since Beta, just short of a year ago now(wow! that's a long time!) I hope that you got as much from our lasting interaction as I have. Beta was a hard road to travel, you know that, you were there. From the skybox to the disappearing packers, you hung in and tested things with me, sometimes at more than a small expense to your own dapper collection. So to you I say, Kudos. You have brought the game from where it was in Beta to the developing beauty that it is today.
To my FBTers. You guys will always have a special little place with me. I don't know if it was you, or if it was me, or some grand combination of the two, but FBT Melinoe was by any standards an incredible group of people. Highly dedicated to testing, seemingly tireless in your ambitious search for bugs, and most importantly, friends to each other, and to me. So to my FBTers, you know who you are. Cheers friends. And we'll meet again, that I can promise you.
Until next time guys,
Cheers!

As I am sure most of you have read, the English speaking servers (Windermeer and Arispotle) are merging. These servers will be handled by Jolt after the merger. On a decision level, this definitely makes more sense, as Jolt currently manages the server farms.
On a customer service level, this means the NA GM team will not be handling the CS on the Arispotle server. The Jolt team will be taking over all Windermeer duties. I want to assure everyone, the Jolt team is very capable and a great group of people. I have worked closely with them over the past 10+ months and I know you will all be very happy with their support.
I want to let everyone know how much I enjoyed being part of the Ryzom community, as a player and a GM. I have enjoyed watching the growth of the players and the strength of the community. I am sure I will continue to see you in the game as you blend in with the European players. I will still be around in the game, but you won't see me as Fadinaway. Scared yet?
Best regards,
Jerry "Fadinaway" Godwin
Senior GM, Ryzom NA
And lastly, I would like to say a few words. Ive said it in the past but Ive taken great pride in this community. Youve helped new players out, heck some go out of their way and even roll a new character, and you have one of the more mature outlooks in an MMO community I have seen to date. I am proud and honored to have been allowed to be your community liaison. I will miss logging in to the forums every morning to see what you have come up with while Ive been asleep; and some of it has been downright hilarious.
Now you will have a new community liaison, Lawrence. He is one of the more organized and competent people I have met. He takes his job seriously and it shows as he does it well. Along with the rest of the customer service team (GMs, SGMs and guides) at Jolt you will be in very good hands, I have no doubt. Ive met quite a few of them and theyre a great bunch.
Although you will not know its me, I look forward to our future encounters in Ryzom and the greater MMO world.
Au revoir till we meet again,
Kara Cerest Japhet
Ryzom NA Community Liaison
