Suggest to just give the game a year and come back IMO.
Even though he is mainly addressing concenrs by the French community :

PS : most of the comments that I am reacting to came from the French community, but since I am addressing matters that affect everyone, and not just the French community, I am writing in English.

The tone is the same, the game today is not what he desires, but the invisioned game of the future has great promise.

I just hope they keep our characters in a closet (those that cancel now), so that a year from now we can come back and see if the game has become the greatness that it offers that it will become.

I wish Ryzom Developers the best in creating the dream, and making it a reality, see you this time next year for a recap.

Even more telling is the statement that they are reorganizing Nevrax in general. This is NEVER a good sign. You folks in software/computers over the past three or four years know exactly what I mean.

Regarding Nevrax and SoR itself, the reorganisation will begin shortly, but the development continues (we are cleaning the game right now), the extension will arrive this year (we will announce it at this years E3), and we are still working on better tools for the events.

So IMO, they have not learned their lesson here yet. Let's announce some awesome new thing, and not have it available until some time in the future. By the way, we don't really know that date, and it will probably move backwards.

Here is what I would like you to learn. Bring something to E3 to announce and have it available THAT day. That is the way to deliver on things. We are all upset of promised things we still do not have, and now you have confirmed that you will be doing this again? Have you not learned this one yet.

I would prefer you to show up to E3 and announce the outposts, and patch the next day with them! Now that would be awesome. As it is, I am expecting outposts sometime around the 4th of July, or Bastille Day.

There is nothing new in that letter. They don't have the subscribers they want so they are changing things around. Seems pretty logical to me.

In other news I'm actually going to E3, so I will get to see exactly what he is talking about before most of you. (and yes I am bragging)
