Ryzom is very nice demo how things can be with the engine right?
The real money is in support in the starter kit and ongoing suport and updates later.

OMG, you are in trouble, we all are! It is not a rare occurence for an area to be totally Kami depleted within 1-2 days of a reset on Windermeer. Time to find new digging spots!micrix wrote: Well this will change a lot. As long as i played the Kamibar was never down, but
i read on Leanon that such happenes.
No idea. I'm sure they'll tell us when they know. I would guess there'd be alot of preparation for something like this.rushin wrote:btw anyone know what 'very soon' means? days/weeks??

The answer I've got from the CSRs is "we'll tell you when we know"rushin wrote:btw anyone know what 'very soon' means? days/weeks?
I have to disappoint you. Warriors here are used to get 3k+ for their Q180+ stuff. So you better start collecting money now.marct wrote:BTW, In preparation, I will pay 1800-2500 per mat for Q180+ armor shells and armor clips. Start storing up now, I will keep you making money for a long time. Start prepping your Q190's and Q200's too. I will pay a bit more for them. Higher Class = higher price. Imagine 178k for 1 stack of leather. The warriors will all be rich, FINALLY!
Well that is awesome in one regard and awful in another. The market must be there to buy your crafted goods for you to pay that much for mats. If not, that is a silly price.mboeing wrote:I have to disappoint you. Warriors here are used to get 3k+ for their Q180+ stuff. So you better start collecting money now.
Looking forward to the new crafters, and looking forward to see what the economy will do with more players.marct wrote:Well that is awesome in one regard and awful in another. The market must be there to buy your crafted goods for you to pay that much for mats. If not, that is a silly price.
If the market is good for your goods, the bad news would be that the market is going to take some time to regulate. We all are going to have a whole bunch of new crafters dropping goods on the vendors, which is great for the buyers, but bad for the suppliers.
I fear your warriors will soon not be getting paid that much for mats that are not of Excellent class soon.
We will see, the economy is in for an interesting turn. Know where did the darn Kami tie up Mr. Greenspan at anyways?
Edit: P.S. I would be happy to pay that much for the mats if I could sell more than 1 shield a RL week.
