Empty prime root sources .. a bit to much??

Post by mrozzy »

More and more harvesters are moving into the roots, so more and more materials get harvested there.

Because the devs wanted to limit the number of supreme mats in the game, for obvious balancing reasons, sources in the roots get depleted quite fast and stay down for a long time (sevral hours).

During my last visit to the roots I did want to get a few ambers (no excelent ones or supreme ones, just leveling mats). I went to Umbra and wasn't really suprised the first amber source I went to was depelted. But after visiting 6!! different amber sources .. I got a total of 22 amber mats .. thats when I tough its a bit to much. I can understand excelent and supreme mats get depleted fast but the choice mats .. ?

So, little question .. isn't that a bit to much?

Lol, reminds me of running around dryon trying to harvest and everywhere is depleted or a kami is warning you!

Just the nature of how the game has progressed, a big group of players have progressed much the same and are now levelling harvest......although it doesnt help you Im glad their moving to PR, means their freeing up dyron for me hehe!

Wonder if the devs could tell us how big the player base is for EC server? At what sort of stage their at, some statiscal analysis etc lol

The choice mats deplete normally now (ie the same as the ones above ground), so if an area is depleted of choice then they should return within 15-20mins ;/

a few patches back the choice sources emptied the same way as exc and sup so we gone for days... was a real lean time as a pr harvester i can tell ya :)

With the upcoming server merge I think something will have to be done about source availability.

hehehe, yeah things will have to be seriously looked upon, I started foraging in dyron today after the server reboot this morning, kami tolerance was fully up, and since an hour or 2, it has decreased to minimum again hehe on less than a day. So, when our amerian friends join.. well.. :)

Serves you right for taking the easy route. Just harvest wher no harvester has gone before and you will have no problems with Kami tolerance.

Yeah maybe, allthough it will probably affect so many more than me in the "near" future, hence stating the problem. Personally, when it really gets to it, I know where to go for alternate sources..

Oh and also, I see a growing trend of skipping the pyr sources and head straight for dyron (almost) to get to the q 200 sources for some strange reason.. making the problem worse. Yesterday 2 people came to me in dyron different occations asking how I could get so "many" mats (13-14) I said well, my lvls allow it in a very normal way, you will get here aswell...
