The Armours of Neun

Post by borg9 »

Not the Highest armour crafter and not the best armour crafter :P

I craft out of guild, however some restrictions apply due to some guild rivalry.

I craft reliable, good quality Heavy armour in the range of ql160-190. If you need lower quality level I would prefer you purchase you armour from other crafters, as I wish to support the next generation of Armours. I can recommend some good ones if you are really stuck.

I will only make black and white under very special circumstances! Weddings, events and great achivements. Sourcing the mats required for these armours is challanging!

My red and blue armours are made with choice and or excellent mats, depending on seasons and stock.

Other colours require fine mats to cut the colour, I will always do my best to use as many higher grade mats as possible! I am very proud of my unusal colour armours and I deliberatly limit the numbers I produce!

HQL armours are available to the public, however I am restricting them to my two highest quality levels (Currently ql180 and ql190)

Hvy armour FULL HQL set now available (all 6 pieces)

For Tryker armours I self source the materials I need.

For non-Tryker armours, I will source the mats from trading harvesters.

All Heavy armours come with full HP boost.

I am expensive and my prices vary between customers.

I DONT WANT DAPPER!

I bust a gut to provide an excellent service to my customers, but I am becoming very intolerant of 'pleaders'. If I say NO, I mean it, don't get upset with me. I suggest you become an armour crafter and see why I have become like this.

Once an order is accepted, I will tolerate only ONE tell per day for progress enquires. Harassment may result in a cancelled order or worse.

Ql180 armours are stable crafts so I can produce this reasonably quickly, Ql190 are very unstable and take a tremendous amount of materials to produce.

Light armours - just because its the same tree, doesn't mean I make them retail. These are again restricted.

Medium armours - I don't make them anymore, sorry.

Yes I can craft other things, but I do it as a hobby. I don't make weapons, amps or jewels retail. I do however know of crafters that can.

Please read and understand the above before send me a tell.

Over the next few weeks I will be expanding my range to include ALL races.

I can only reccomend Neun's armors... I got my Neun™ tryker heavy armor last night and I can only say I *love* it!

Apart from that I applaud Neun for setting up these terms. Even when not advertising it, you get a looooot of tells when you're a crafter, so these terms are only fair. And I will say this only once! Stick to his rules, else you'll be missing out on the most beautiful armors made by a cute little tryker man :P

Mike, get me 5 more constitution and I promise to switch between Neun's and your armor! I still can't use it, amp crafting has made me unable to lvl melee :P (I really should learn to avoid stables, every time I go there I get 8 extra tells for amps :P )

Bang goes another thread in to Neun's ramblings...

Considers posting a nakid pic of Neun on the Ryzom.com ......

Wonders how many people it will scare off, rather than attract :P

BTW: there are a huge number of 'Readers' of the forums that just don't post, I know this to be true because they tell me.

I for one question the supplying of such goods to people!

Before I begin I know this is hypocritical of myself as I for one have done exactly the same thing, not got my harvest / craft level very high and relied upon others for good armor / amps! And thank you to those who have done :)

My point being this:-
If it wasn't for a select few high level crafters would there actually be many high level healers / melee / eles? No is the simple answer IMHO! And are these people thankful for keeping some many people happy within the game?
ie, would a lot of people play if they had to level craft as they went along??

When the devs drew up the game / gameplay did the imagine that you would have to level craft to be 'self sufficient' in order to level melee / ele etc. Or was it invisaged that noob players could come in and level the more 'interesting' branches, whilst relying on the more experienced group of players!

So is this good or bad for the game? Ie we all know getting good at crafting takes ions! Whereas, ele / melee are quite quick in comparison!
To me looking at the amount of branches involved with crafting, and harvesting is part of this IMO, this is HUGE compared to melee + magic, so IMO this seems to be the 'core' of the game! (At a guess 10,000+ levels!)

For me at present, I couldnt get hold of any armor crafters so I have decided to level it myself, and I hated harvesting but after 15 levels or so in last week (lol) Im now starting to enjoy it!

I know this is totally of topic but just like to generate some discussion!
