Ryzom as a Coverdisk

Post by borg9 »

One of the main UK PC mags has featured Ryzom as a cover disk.

I have been told that its a fully patched version, so might be a worth while buy for some of us Old-Hands as a backup incase of a reinstall. The mag includes a good guide on starting the game and that 'You are starting in small starter isle, not the main game' brief.

Heres hoping that the players who have never seen Ryzom and a few of our old friend will take the opportunity to visit us :D

lets give em a walm welcome.

Good idea. Hopefully it'll increase the coverage of Ryzom and tempt people who have never heard of the game to try it.

And you're right, we should all endeavour at all times to give new people a hearty welcome (except the begging element who should be ganked on sight :) )

Whoever can get hold of the mag with the SoR coverdisc: GET IT!

I managed to completely obliterate Windows and had to wipe my harddisc. It goes without saying that the first thing to reinstall after I had Windows up and running again was SoR.

Take note of this: if you currently log on with the retail version, you'll be in for patches of a total of 262.4 MB!!. Even with the fast connection I have, this takes an eternity :( . So atm I'm not B@W, but B@P (bored at patching)...arrrgghhh......

*whishes he had the coverdisc*
*swears to go buy it tomorrow*
