Post by nyaln »

Just got the game yesterday, when the log in screen comes up I can enter my account and password but when try and move my cursor to hit hte ok button it vanishes and cannot see the cursor. when i get the invisable cursor near where the ok button is part of a picture shows up of a woman in a silver outfit from the torso down apprease.

After i hit enter i go to the server select screen. Cursor is still invisiable can not select server or even ok. I can not get past this point to do anythign else.
I have downloaded the newest drivers for my graphics card..ATI Radeon 9800XT, have DirectX9.0c..also i have reloded the game 3 times and patched it but still cant figure out what is wrong..please help

try to alt tab out of game and then back in (may help)..
or run ryzom config (ryzom_configuration_rd.exe in ryzom dir, dont know if new installer creates any icons)
- check that you running direct x mode (reccomended for ati users) or switch to opengl if you already was in direct x to see if it fixes your problem
- try windowed and full screen modes

and if all fails, open client.cfg file in rycom directory with notepad and add
(i think you can create new file if it does not exsist yet)
HardwareCursor = 1;
hope that helps
