I think the thing that has hit me most is that the interactivity we were promised is missing. I have to admit to being on the "quest for the holy MMORPG" which like ANY grail quest is impossible to end. There will ALWAYS be a brighter future and a bigger better game...in beta...opening up SOON *insert proper URL addy here* sign up TODAY! *catchy music here*

I have to admit, Ryzom kept me ALOT longer than the others (normally about four months tops), before I started getting those, "wait a minute, haven't I seen this before...OH yeah...Everquest *insert zone and mob name here*" flashbacks.

In all honesty, after the 9th MMORPG you test OR play...they kinda blur into ONE game. I have caught myself using EQ short cut keys, or Horizons short cut keys only to wonder why they didn't work LOL.

And to the achievers out there...some of us do NOT get a thrill when we "ding", or get a spawn spot, or buy a ticket (I feel in game like I do in real life, that lingering feeling that I am being RIPPED OFF when I buy a travel ticket!), or get a new spell or crafting form/pattern/quality.

Some of us don't enjoy the killing part either, but, at least in THIS game, logically...you HAVE to kill (unlike Horizons, where killing is kinda meaningless...or it was six months ago).

There are four gaming styles, and I am a FULL out Explorer/social, with MOST of the social being guild and crafting exposure to other players, with a pinch of "thank you kindly for the heal...here, have some sap" and the like.

For those of us that do not NEED the "achievement" game difficulty is NOT fun, when it is pointless meaning it does NOT further the storyline...then this frustration turns into ANGER. (normally followed by "voting with your feet", another tradition from those angry Yanks.)

Reading NA forum I see the same 3-4 people whining their hearts out in almost every threat.

Can't you people either shut up or find some more constructive issues to raise. If you are really this pissed of with the game, I know the perfect solution. Take a break and check back in 2-3 month. By then you will see a bit more content.

I really doubt that your whining will make the developers any faster or change their plan. If there is a bug report it and it will be taken off. If you have any suggestions, write them ONCE and be done with it. Repeating it over and over won't help you here.

Please read my message at this link:

http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12350

It started out as a response to this thread, but I felt that it was important enough to warrant its own thread.

Thanks.

What I don't get is why the Europeans are coming over to this forum to whine about the way the Americans are whining? Not enough going on at their forums?

Utter disbelief that your experience with the game is so different to ours.
Plus most of us brits can't read french or german but most of them can read english, so there's curiosity.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!

1. Sxar is my Guildleader!
2. He is Dutch, as I am!

*feeling proud*

He is indeed a great asset to the EE server, and inspires those around him to great deeds like the pirate event. That was not solely his work, Evolution and the cooperation of the Guides did it together where Sxar was a catalyzer.

I think every group has some of these persons, even the US server. Allow them to grow and prosper ;)
