have you tried to select prospecting source with space bar yet ?

yeah, foraging in EI is a lot more fun now...

They didn't fix the targeting for harvest nodes??? oh FRELL! Ta'hell with skating in a buffalo herd - trying to target a node you've pulled up in the middle of a herd of bodoc is a whole new level of frustration.

And if that hasn't been fixed, then the bit about kitins and vegetation not obscuring the source window doesn't pertain to bodocs. Nuthin' like a fat bodoc butt in your face that last second before the boom timer runs out.

When you were talking about foraging in EI, Blaah, I'm assuming you're referring to the shalahs? urk!

Edit: I've been told by a guildmate that this is actually a good thing. When you're attacked or are defending somebody near a node, it's better that you're able to target the mob and save the harvester.

yeah i noticed the Nodes problem.. But they will adjust it soon.
There are interesting things also like the Ticket order finally by lands ( i really want to see a Ticket filter in the future )

Having done some group harvesting with melee/mages protecting the harvesters, it was a big problem for the melee/mages to actually target a mob and not a node. So I like that the spacebar now targets mobs instead of a node. Will make the protection of the harvesters easier when there's aggro around.

I see not having spacebar target nodes as a fix and not a bug. It would be nice if we could get another way to target the nods, like a target node option in the macro menu. This way we could set another key to target nodes and leave spacebar as it is now.

I agree. It was too hard to target mobs and enemy players surrounded by source nodes. Sure, you could type /tar playername or /tar "mob name" but that is hard to do quickly and accurately when under pressure.

But it would be nice to have a built-in macro we could assign to a key for this.

This is one the greatest patches, this game has ever seen! I think Ryzom lives again :P I was just beginning to lose my interest.

I agree, this is a very impressive patch.
I'm very very very pleased by the encumberance issue being resolved, that one was driving me batty (I exchange a lot with all the mats I dig).
I was so happy to wake up this morning and find all these things taken care of.

As for the harvesting/targeting issue, look at the forums, there's some suggestions by myself and others to help resolve the issue, if at least temporarily :)

Awesome work guys!! These are the kinds of patches that build faith in players - when issues are fixed/resolved players will stay longer.
When you're playing in a game that's made by certain companies *cough*SoE*cough* that don't resolve issues, players lose hope and lose intrest - that or they just put up with it, but laugh everytime someone states it's a "known issue" and "a resolution is currently being constructed".
I heard it for years, I'm so very happy to find a game/company that actually *works* on the game.
