patch 53 feedback on harvesting

much as the new patch is going great i feel a few mutters are needed

it is understandable that dedicated fighters was miffed by targeting sources when hitting spacebar so that option has been removed

but as equally dedicated havester i find i equally annoying to target monsters when i'm used to target the nearest source i'm facing using spacebar

i therefore suggest a minor amendment to the latest patch allowing us to use shift+spacebar to target nearest source for harvesting, thus neatly circumventing the grouch from fighters and re-instating the harvesting ability without forcing harvesters to use mouse solely for targeting sources (a likely source of misfiring as well if harvesting near monsters)

feel free to rant and rave

Not that you can attack mobs with a pick anyway...

Honest, I didnt play nor patch the last 24 hours, so I wouldnt know. But are you telling me that when I am holding a pick and I press my old trusted spacebar, I will target an animal?

actually, I always found this a bit funny.

I wear amps, I target a source. WHY???? Why would I want to do that?
I wear a sword, I target a teamy. WHY???? Why would I want to do that?
I wear a pick, I target a source, I smack 2, I dig. Makes sense.

I really dont think it is that hard to target a source when holding a pick. I am sort of anticipating patch 53

Uhm.. in your case, it seems obvious to me. To stab a teamy in the back

You will target next animal or nothing at all

The patch looks quite good. Only this missing-spacebar thing is a little annoying

But, hey.. we are flexible.. we dig it anyway

We will see more today. There will be another patch today for the picks

Dont know about anyone else but.....the most annpying thing is the flickering when 2 sources overlap on ur screen

I *never* stab teammates in the back. I prefer the front, so I can see their expression.
