You don't have to go PR to get to the lands.

Go from Tryker through Loria through the Maze in Heretic's Hovel. Then it's just a quick run north to Yrkanis. Keep going north through Hidden Source into Savage Dunes. Head north and stop by Thesos and further north into Sawdust Mines. Halfway along go west over the bridge into the Imperial Dunes, now you have Pyr. Straight west from there and along the west wall of the Dunes of Exile is the portal to Knot of Dementia in the jungle. Head south down the ramp and it's straight southeast to Zora. And there you have a world tour, no PR and no PvP. You can check the route and the portals at http://www.ballisticmystix.com/map.jsp. The only thing that can't be done sneaking (I've done all the rest personally) is the Maze of Sprite.

If you weren't on ATS I'd get you all the lands myself. I don't know who you can ask there, but I'm sure someone would at least help you through the maze.

I do believe in some kind of toggle, but there is very little you can't do in this game without PvP. Harvesting sup mats (and doing missions for tribes) in Nexus is about the only thing I can think of.

Do not forget that at this time and in the future we do not get DP from PvP so really being killed while foraging in PR just makes it as simple as this. Some one choose to take the advantage of PvP to slow down your mission. You can either choose to retaliate or leave the area. But as for the noobie getting ganked by the lvl 250 it would be fair for the lvl 250 to not be aloud to attack the lvl 50 and the same for the lvl 50. Due to the fact there are so many lvls and PvP atm is a simple who can dmg the other fastest it doesnt make it fair for a lvl 50 with 1000 hp to have to go up agianst a lvl 250 with 3500+ hp when one can do over 800+ dmg and the other lucky to do 150 dmg. Im thinking brackets for 1v1 but if it comes to GvG or team vs team it would be fair for a lvl 250 to kill a lvl 50 if the lvl 50 is teamed with different 250.

PvP in MMOrpgs arnt always good or bad. I find most of my PvP fun in FPS due to that fact it isnt base buy lvl or items its base on player skill and strategy. If it helps the only game i can seem to apreicate atm seems to be in guildwars. (max lvl is 20 and form what i seen you only have 500 hp max and with the right combination of skills a lvl 1 and drop 500 hp very fast.) Also atm in Ryzom your afflictions arnt very useful unless you are high enough to get past the higher lvl players resist to give yourself a reasonable defence. I also have seen 2 lvl 200+ players go at it and one ended up wining because he afflicted between attacks. So there is reward for skill but not for skill of being the higher level.

And as a PR harvester I have yet to be killed from PvP im guessing mainly because to much aggro still for anyone to have a entertaining massive multiplayer PvP. Thought some may dissagree the only way to be able ot do this would be to due it out in an 'ruin outpost or as some are named research center'. Also the raid isnt what i hoped and it seems there isnt much of a war, its more like short battles. Also war is random and a constant dispute which we obviously dont have yet, and the rewards yet for winning arnt all that self fullfiling. The portal was a nice reward but i would like some story to be unlocked to aiding an area that is being raided or thrashed by alot of kitin aggro.

The down fall of this game is.. its not finished and doing a little of each part of full aspect of the finished game doesnt help. Finish the rites and the guild part of the story first, thats gives us something to do while we wiat, then give us the Kitin war which is what must of us want, or doing it in reverse order, not a little of kitin, a little of rites and a little of guild/PvP. Some would like it to be all of one section at a time. I joined this game because i wanted to fight a war agianst Kitin and help save the planet.. not level mindlessly while i wait for it to be added.

I almost completely agree. I'm not sure most want the Kitin war though. I think most would prefer the Kami/Karavan war only because you can actually align with one of the sides.

Fully understand.. the kami/karavan dispute only adds a two front war, Making it more realistic. But with out the full content only having kami/karavan with no bonus to act out the roles just seems to make PvP a nuisence at this point, not to forget that alinging with both wether the kami or karavan like it, seem to reap better rewards at this time.

Tho if i had to take sides i couldnt becuase there are parts of both factions that i like. which is why i rather play the role of a 'hero of atys' and 'destroyer of the Kitin Aggro' and get rewarded by both..

PvP will only grow when RP takes real form.
RP will take real form when content is added.
PvP thus will take real form when content is added that allows for more RP.
There intertwined.

This isn't Half-Life Counterstrike.

Atleast there I get me an Aug and lay waste for 5 minutes, (has the chime in his head, Counter Terrorists win)
For those who know about today, I have a supprise for you tomorrow.
