Rites question. SPOILER

Post by bcharles »

This question contains spoilers, so if you like figuring out everything for yourself, read no further.

According to several web sites, the final The Creatures of Atys, Ragus mission is given to you by Miaccia Stazzo. I've done the other 3 missions, but Miaccia has nothing at all to say about having any missions. Does anyone know what else is required? My Matis fame is over 60, and my melee is over 50, if that has anything to do with it. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a nagging feeling that's one of the rites that at present cannot be completed as it is not actually implemented yet.

I thought it was in, as I saw some info on it on a fan site, but have been assured that info came from the ATS, where this rite is available.

That would explain it. Thanks.

I've given up on all the rights all together until the system is actually functional in a complete form.

Just tired of wasting time.

Once they announce that all rites are working and there finished doing anything to them, then I'll do them.
For those who know about today, I have a supprise for you tomorrow.

Ive been doing rites since they were released and have finished 3 so far with others pending. Those that work, seem to work well. Those that dont and just provide the steps before the actual rite is implemented are just easter eggs and not fully implemented. Zumwalt i dont think the will have a point where they will be finished implementing the rites. Seems they are just going to be rolling them in from time to time.

This is basically where I am, I tried one or two and decided to wait until they get all the basic rites finished, tested, and onto live, AND I hear others say that they have finished ALL the basics, before I will even work on fame.

As it stands now, I end up getting more DP than I get reward. I don't see ANY travel missions that are worth the worry, the effort, or the death points due to inaccurate mob displaying.

Have to agree with brackish here - the rites that are fully implemented that I have done (about 5 or 6 I think) work very well, or they did for me anyway.

A word of warning though - if you're planning on doing the Tryker ranged rite, make sure you have a lot of spare craft skill points :)

On a slightly different note, I am encouraged to see the info on the 70 or so new rites that are being tested. I love doing rites and can't wait for more to be implemented. Only problem I have is that they tend to distract me from regular play, so some of my levels are suffering a bit :)
