Re: Patch 52 Feedback (2/24)
Previous to the patch, when in Fairhaven, the gangways would appear to be water covered at distances greater than approximately 30 meters. This first occured when the tattoo folks and hairdressers were added.
I also would crash when teleporting into Fairhaven about 90% of the time.
Since Patch 51, I have not crashed when teleporting into Fairhaven. I am so use to seeing the water artifact I do not know if that is gone yet.
I checked post Patch 52. The water artifact remains and I see it consistently as I have for many weeks.

Re: Patch 52 Feedback (2/24)
It seems good so far. There were a number of areas in Liberty Lake where my client had a fairly high chance of crashing unless I had my graphics set to lowest. I went by some of those areas today with my graphics settings on highest and experienced not a single crash.
But like they said, the crashes were quite random, so maybe I just got lucky today. (If I do get a crash again later I'll let you know ofcourse)

Re: Patch 52 Feedback (2/24)
After the patch I turned all my settings back to "normal" and took my Tryker for a swim around Lands End. *poink* My computer crashed. Not even a NeL report box - just GONE.
My computer is a new ABS Mayhem-G2 laptop 1.7GHz 2MB L2 cache 512MB; ATI Radeon 9700 graphics card with 218 vram, Toshiba 60GB 5400RPM hard drive; 10/100 LAN; DSL service - XP Home Edition - and I use the hardware mouse. The game is configured as "Auto", Fullscreen and with EAX enabled, Software Sound fmav increase checked and sound tracks at 24.
...so it's back to the low settings for me... *grrrrr*

Re: Patch 52 Feedback (2/24)
Oh I think this did the trick! I was crashing about 4-5 times a night while swimming in Tryker - got to a point where I really feared the water o.o . Also the crashes seemed to get worse after patch 51 but I'm not sure.
Anywho, I'm happy to say last night didn't result in one crash after 6 hours of play and a good chunk of that was me swimming from one end of the map to the other. Great job!
My settings have always been at Normal btw.
