Has anyone seen this movie yet? It's CGI and has a vaguely similar premise as the game in that the technology is nature-based, and the presence of huge roots is there too. Also made in France. Pretty good movie for anyone wanting to put themselves into a similar atmosphere as our game.

Weee!! Another Kaena topic This makes me happy! I tried so hard to tell people about this movie a year or so ago, and even discussed it's relationship to Ryzom.

yes movie has ALOT of similarties to Ryzom ....interesting....very good movie I enjoyed it.

To be honest i swear i thought this game was a continuation of the movie.

Great movie... Has sap.... and a culture based on organic technology.... All simmilar to SOR.

Same here. It wouldn't be too hard to imagine that Ryzom takes place several generations after Kaena's tribe made the trip down the roots to the planet.

How beautiful, but if only. The possibility existed, by the way. The people who worked on both were not that far from eachother in their earlier years. ^_~

A renaming of a few major characters here and there, and a good author could link the two. Unfortunately, as I am playing Kaena in game, I don't think I'd want to be the one writing it
