Being able to allow certain members of your team enter your appartment or have access to your packers would be really helpful :) Also being able to customise your appartment in some way would be kool. For example you can collect tropies from the bosses you have killed and mount their heads on the wall :D

Not that keen on the idea of potions, one thing i don't want Ryzom to turn into is a buff-based game (shudders)...

I'd pretty much like to be able to do/access all the stuff thats in the manual :p

I would like to see solo exploration actually POSSIBLE before they bother to add more lands. Maybe open up the sky branches?

:| It is. Some of my guild have gone from Fyros to Zorai and Matis solo, and are doing the Tryker trip soon.

I myself have done the Zorai trip solo (both routes) but still have nightmares about the Matis trip.

Its perfectly possible as long as you have the patience and don't mind the dp ;)

Then you all have a route that I am not aware of. I spent one MONTH of scoot, STOP, *paniced panting and praying as the patrol passes*, wiggle scoot, rinse repeat, only randomly throwing in a *mob pops outta no where, was not on compass at ALL, and no spawn was due and BAM dead*

I adjusted my graphics from auto to D3D to Open gl, I tweeked and fiddled. I used the negative minimum camera trick and the whole nine yards. I tried the Matis to Tryker run and tried to get my Tryker to matis. I have managed to make it to the first out post in Lagoons of Loria, and found no way around agros from there. What I found using the negative camea trick to scout WAY out away from me and see ALL agro, was the the agro ranges overlap from wall to wall. And not being level 190+...I couldn't get past them.

40 seconds is just not long enough (20 seconds of invuln and 20 seconds of speed four and melee protection four) to get from the first turn to the water, and if I did make it...I would end up in the water waiting for all those to pop back up again and make the run to the zoneline.

Besides, running like a madman is NOT exploring, that is running through an area. Exploring is wandering around...in other games it involved invisablity and conning a mob to see if it saw you.

This game is NOT explorer friendly. I gave up on it and moved on to testing another game to get my exploring fix. As beautiful as this world is...and without a guard troupe *bleck face* you can't explore it. *exasperated sigh*

Getting to other lands ain't easy. I've spend the first weeks after release exploring, and it ain't easy. But remember, you only have to make the trip once, thats all. Tykers are the most isolated people, Leaving the Tyker terretory or trying to visit fairhaven for the first time is one of the most difficult trips to make, with getting from Tyker to Matis on top. Not only do you have to get past the aggro at Loria, after that you'll need to get past the aggro's in the south Matis labyrinth (and you'll need to find your way out).
If you really want to make it to Matis solo, I'll suggest getting from Zoraï to Fyros and then on to Matis. You can take the direct Zoraï -> Fyros portal, or you can try to do it like we all had to do in the first few months and thats getting trough underspring. Getting trought the northen Matis desert, isn't that difficult. The mobs over there aren't all that agressive, its just a very long trip (2.3 km) to the next spawn (the abyss one)

There lots of places were you can explore at any level, but yes they might be boring. Anyway look around an bit more in places were you fight the creatures. I havn't seen everything in Tryker and why should I want to go to an other land to explore there? Ok I can go there now, but mostly you'll find my in Tryker. EVERY day I see new things. If I explore I see an lot more new things then when I don't but I do see new things either way.
