ok, two things, scroll up and read your question, especially the thread title, now scroll down to my first reply, read it, try the link. if you haven't figured it out yet, it opens the page where you can write a Private Message to Lawrence. if it doesn't you'll have to activate your PMs, like i suggested later in the thread.
my point? don't post a question you want to only have answered by one person in a public forum if there's such a thing as a Private Message System. using it would have ensured that only the person you are asking would have responded AND it would have had the added benefit of keeping the dreaded post count low.

Kibs - I was seriously trying to ascertain what contribution he was making to the thread with the post he made. I don't understand it. Perhaps you would like to explain it to me in context with the question I raised to Lawrence about why the delay in results. I seem to remember your name attached to that very question in another thread & I hope you got more sensible answers.

Reasons for defending Xenofur:

1) I have yet to see a post from him/her that didn't contain useful information, or that contained something that was meant to insult or annoy another community member

2) Xeno is very technically knowledgable - no, I don't know him, I've read a lot of his english replies though

3) Xeno's original post in this thread was to show you the private messages function, in fact the link even populates lawrence's name in the user field. Type, click, send. Difficult?

4) Your replies to the early posts in this thread are pure rant, including profanity that lawrence edited before I could read it. No-one was sarcastic or patronising in their replies, and you still went off on a rant

His response was to point you to the private message page, to message lawrence directly and ask your question.

The main reason for people replying to your initial post is that you were missing a point - lawrence is not responsible for the content of announcements, nor is he responsible for the timing of these posts. This information comes from Nevrax, and it comes when they decide to send it.

The sooner people appreciate that fact, the better.

Lawrence is our friend, and stands at equal 'friendlieness' with the mighty kiban. You too can be our friend. But remember, it takes a lot to match the mighty kiban...

Don't you think that Lawrence's answer might have been of interest to everyone therefore deserving of a post? Not a PM.
