That's a good point. The lore on the site says the Karavan are protecting the planet against the goo. Which is a direct contradiction to what is on the box.

My personal opinion is that who ever wrote up the lore on the website either didn't translate something right or f'ed up when they wrote about the Karavan protecting the planet.

I have to agree the only thing consistent about the lore is that it's inconsistent. Right now we know **** all about the Kami or Karavan, and it makes it frustrating to play a follower.

From taking every third word from the box, passing it through Babelfish from English to French, French to German, and then back to English again.

You guys who are claiming that amcyr has "blown away all the secrets" of the game should read what he said;

"every 3rd word" : means he picked out some words; this is *not* a direct translation

"through Babelfish" : online translators are notoriously bad at translating things correctly, and sending it through 3 times using 3 different languages is bound to screw things up. The fact that it even came out making any sense at all is a miracle...

For example:

Putting "some random text" into a babelfish translator...

English "some random text" -> French "un certain texte aléatoire" -> German "ein bestimmter Zufallstext" -> English "a certain coincidence text"

Hardly an amazing insight is it? In fact, its more of a "coincidence" (gee would you look at that?) that it has the word "coincidence" in it And that is working with a 3 word sentence using all of the words, not just every 3rd word.

(Edit: btw since I was bored I did it with a more complicated example which came out even funnier... Tell me if you need more convincing that online translators are not to be trusted when you send things through more than once )

There's probably a whole other war going on in space that we're unaware of.

Seeing that there is a "1" at the loading screen and next to this number is the word Atys, this may just be the first world and from what i remember reading, it is. Lets just hope we have enough homin to make it to the next one.
In regards to this "new" information through the prophet babelfish, what would happen to the "struggle" if nevrax came out in support of this? Could Kami followers actually say they still find reason in furthering thier cause?

I wouldn't call him/her that. Even if it was completly made up, it makes a ton more sense than what Nevrax has shoved out so far. I'm actually happy that was posted, at least it gave us something to talk about besides the fricken kitin (nice rhyme huh?). The Kitin swarmed and almost killed everything 3 generations ago, they don't like us, we get it, move the story on.

So far the Kitin War is just like the V'rix war of Earth and Beyond. It seems to be just going on and on without any real progress to the story. I just hope they get through it before th game closes like EnB did.

I definitely think it's time the devs shook things up a bit. Maybe after this patch things will be stable enough for them to run some more events?
