I played planetside for 18 months, CS before that for years but eventually a game will becoming boring and its the ppl you end up logging in for.

I left PS to come here, eventually I will leave Ryzom for something else. Meanwhile new ppl will join as others leave, it is the way of things.

Even though I stand by the first post on this thread, I'm just letting you know that I am now back in-game (some people know already).

Why did I come back, well it seems that MMOGs are addictive and single player games are no longer of any interest. I looked at other MMOGs but there is only 1 other that I am interested in and that is in development at the moment. Will I leave when it is released the answer to that would be no the reason is 2 MMOGs are better than 1. With MMOGs it's not just about good graphics and gameplay it's also about the community and this game has a good community and I hope it stays that way.

15 mins ? why not make it an hour ?
20m sure is a safe distance to make sure nobody notices you, except if they're looking at their compass, which doesnt happen a lot when you're busy healing ;)
troll16 wrote: At the end of this time period I transported to Min-Cho where I sent a /tell to you Dam saying that I was not impressed and why. You gave me different reasons including: You said that you had posted in guild chat that your team was hunting to improve skills, I said I checked guild chat since I had logged on and there was no mention of that.
Which lead me to reply that as usual, we were using guildchat instead of teamchat. Anyone *smart* enough would figure out there's a hunting party going on, when seeing 3 "ding" in a row...
troll16 wrote: You then told me that nobody had seen me. So I told you when I logged on I logged on almost on top of Axilis and you said she did not say anything. So with the amount of time involved I found your answers implausible at best, what it did suggest to me the most likely reason is you did not want me to reduce the xp.
"Hi, I'm a paranoid and I want everyone to know it! "
Look, you're not blaming my gf for not noticing Your Highness logging ok ?
troll16 wrote: Now you said why did I not ask to join the guild team, well the reason is as it was a guild team and I was stood by the team in the middle of nowhere I would have expected an automatic invite. If I was a hunting team leader and someone was stood there I would ask them did they what to join or just invite them they can always say no. Or if just a team member I would usually say in team does x what to join.
You'd have gotten a team invite if anyone had noticed your Royal Butt, my lord...
troll16 wrote: I left your guild because you as guild leader offered me lame excuses for the reason why and as such I lost any respect I had for you.
And I'm very glad my "lame" ( o_O ? lol ) excuses drove you away, since you seem very childish here...
troll16 wrote: Hope this makes it clear Dam
Sure does, you're a paranoid type, imo.
You seem to be taking this game very seriously...

As you can notice, I am not quite ready yet to let you spread fake rumours about either me, my officers, or any other member.

Well shad i must say when i met u again yesterday i had forgotten all this story and i hadn't read this post yet.
u told me to do it and i did more or less and i told u what i thought.
Now i've read it entirely u can be sure if i did it before i certainly wouldn't have talked to u as i did yesterday.
What is the "i lost the respect i had for u [dam]" meant for? he tried to clarify the situation with u and pof only because u don't have the same view it s over? and btw if u knew the guild and dam as well as i know them u would never say dam is a bad leader.
Now i didn't see the "20m" thingy too lol . oh plz if u want to be invited why staying so far??? only to "test" us and to see if we look at the compass?so test successful we didn't when we are busy. is that enough to discredit a guild and his leader? i think not.
Anyway now it s all over, it happened a while ago and i hope we will forget everything but i won't let u say bad things about the guild again.

Wow, Shadow... I was there, and I have to admit I did not see you.

But surely, it is common courtesy to say "hi" (at least) to others if you want their attention? You can't expect a team xping to notice you some distance away (while they are busy fighting, healing and trying to stay alive) - also sometimes people really do not pay notice to what's around when they are rushing, I do not think it is fair for you to assume people will notice you because you stand there not saying a word.
