Rot spells damage or the lack of same

Anyone know if rot-dmg spells arent supposed to do more damage than they do?
I saved up for this expensive spell to find out it did half of what it was displayed to do.

Cause I like the graphics alot on the rot spells but it doesnt make up for the lack of dmg

Damage done depends on what you use spells on. General maximum damages for low level critters:

Acid: Animals
Cold: Kipee
Rot: Plants

Using acid on kipee is utterly ineffective and on plants only does half damage.

If you are using rot on animals then, yes, it only does half damage. Use it on the psykopia though and you should find it does full damage.

It makes sense as well I just didnt think rot should be used on plants lol
