Well, you are right. I've never denied WOW will be a good game. In fact, knowing the reputation of Blizzard, my other posts agrees with how "Polished" WOW will be when launched. And also, you have absolutely rights to compare games before selecting one.
However, please do understand that it's not to your advantage by posting irrational feedbacks on forums. From your gaming experience as you've so mentioned, I believe you should be able to give constructive views and comparison instead of repetitive use of words like "sux", "better" and "boring", etc. In fact, I am sure your reviews and feedbacks will be much respected if you've chose to do so.
I dare not say that players who stayed with Ryzom abnormal? Or I won't say that the gamebase will drop to zero (0) when the mega twin towers are launched. Do give us some room to breathe yeah?
Oh, btw, please do paragraph, if you are doing long post. It's easier to read.
Thanks.
Nevrax: Its is unfortunate that you have buried yourselves prematurely.

Re: content was mentioned
I see. that's unfortunate indeed.
Before getting a copy of the game myself, my own posts to the forums were well answered by the GM/CMs here. It's gives me confident on their commitment and dedication to gamers like me. I am sure you will receive more attention if liguistic representation were improved to their understanding. Bear in mind that they are serving us worldwide with slangs and styles alien to them.
And frankly, I wasn't avoiding the "no contents", "lvl grinding" and "mob balancing" topics. In fact, I would rather view it in favour of a more flexible touch to the game. IMHO, the dev made Ryzom into a "living" world with no strict rules to the future. In another word, the stories are not defined. If you choose to do only lvl up, hitting unbalanced mobs, then you'll always be doing that and bore yourself out.
I laud the dev for giving us this flexibility where "spoonfeeding" content wasn't part of the gameplay. You don't have to move towards a known "goal" at the beginning of the story, in fact, you set the goal and tries to archieve it yourself.
I am looking forward to see what's gonna happen when the factions meet up. I am quite sure it's gonna be major. You'll be part of the "history", which writes differently on different server then.
So, playing like Sim City, or like Guild Wars, it's really up to you.
Hope these helps

Re: Dreaming
I tell you a secret, fanboy: I am exactly 40(!) years old and I was playing every single RPG that came out even in the ATARI days while your parents probably still thought that a dishwasher might prove a better idea than a child.injen`jegger wrote:hell i was killing time gods before you most proberly knew what a mmorpg was..not trying to blow my own trumpet but its true.i
No idea if they would have gone for the dishwasher instead if they knew.
