How does this encyclopedia stuff work

I know there's a bug probably affecting me and that I may have to wait a week to get it sorted.

My wife was on her free trial after me and she did the newbie barman mission. The result was that she had her first rite opened up by just doing one delivery to Crystabel - this was after the last patch.

I did that delivery pre-patch and only got one little dot out of 3 and no clue how to get the other two.

I really don't understand what's going on - sorry.

Can someone please help me understand so I know if I need to wait for the fix, or if my wife was just lucky, or any other information to stop me looking this confused, please?

quite simple really

if you did it before the patch its screwed and should be sorted shortly

if you did it after the patch - happy days

I am Tryker, I have been merrily doing missions in Matis to build up my fame and explore the Matis Rites.

I started with a -10 fame, Trykers have long memories of Slavery etc, but I am willing to forgive and forget.

I started by helping the City welcomer and The Green Seeds to rid the lands of Gingos and Ragus. My fame grew to -1. I was now able to do missions for some of the other industries.

I have managed to do the 3 requirement mission for Majestic Gardens & Jewerly. I also found an entry for the Ragus.

So far so good. When my fame was -10 even the Barman wouldn't talk to me.

Now with a huge +2 fame he offers me drinks (joke), but he does offer missions

So heres my question..... the Final rites missions are visible on the Intendant (Jewerly) and Barman (Majestic Gardens). However they are both grey. I am a positive thinker so my question to you is ......

Do you know what fame I need to get these missions?
Do you know if I need the skills first?

I am happy to continue experimenting, however I would like a clue.

Does anyone know the mission detail on the Rites quest. I find it frustrationing that I am told of a large jewery order, but no specific items.
I can play lucky dip and buy the 2 missing jewel plans and maybe boost my jewel crafting skill (plan) to ql60 (I doubt its this as its a sub lvl 50 mission).

I will be, by default, building my fame I would just prefer to spend my limited time working on the 'right' thing and not waste SP on plans I will never use.

Anyone out there know the mission spec? I don't want to know the suprise second part. Just the starting requirement.
