Boy what a picture, devs and event staff fix this please!!!!!

Zum has just created this lovely page, http://jbwws.com/RyzomGuilds.htm. It lists all the guilds with two columns. One is titled guild position, the other in-character. There is something very wrong with a system where over 90% of the guilds list themselves and belonging to a faction, yet not for the sake of interacting with other players.

I am pleading with the devs and event staff. Do something to fix this. There are 34 guilds listed at the time of this writing and only 3 of them list their Kami or Karavan allignment as part of their interaction with other players.

I understand that not everyone wants to rp. But 3 out of 34?????? That's just pitiful.

That's the one bad thing about that list. It's going to lead people to believe that if they list their guild as neutral for rp, yet Karavan based, they won't be treated as Karavan supporters.

I wasn't trying to knock your attempt and think it was nice that someone tried . I was just trying to say that raynes should chill out and look a bit more before he leaps.

I don't agree; listing me or my guild as Neutral doesn't tell you anything about how another, less-neutral (more extremist?) entity, will treat me. It merely states that I am neutral and will behave in, what I consider to be, a neutral manner. Just because one of the more extreme guilds regards me as a Karavan support because I participate in Tryker and Matis society doesn't change my opinion of myself or how I choose to live.

I live in a Karavan society and consider the Karavan to be our friends and allies. Yes, I admit to a certain distrust of the Kami but I suspect most of that is because how I was raised. But, I do not believe our differences require open hostility.

I will occasionally take missions from my race's leadership and from my allies (Matis) leadership because I believe in doing what I can to help. As a side effect, that seems to make me more popular with our Karavan allies and a little less popular with the Kami. I'm sorry for that, but I must participate in my own society. I can't simply sit and watch the cloppers play all day.

It's possible that you will be offended that I consider your guild "extreme". I don't mean to offend, but any guild that seems to express such an open hostility to me and my friends, seems extreme to me.

I'll "chill out" and completly change my tune if suddenly there are 5 or 6 other guilds that appear and list their alliance under "in-character". But you know as well as I do, that isn't going to happen. I know most won't agree with me and most will think it's an overreaction, but it's a very serious issue. When almost all of the game population won't take a side in an issue that is central to the game story, or they only take a side becuase of missions they took and don't really care otherwise something needs to be done. If that be Karavan ships wiping out a Kami based city, if that be Kamis turning Homins into Kitin, something has to get people more interested in this area of the story.
