The reason that PvP will be such a great asset to the game is to keep enemies of your race/alignment from having uber equipment. This is why PvP was implemented in to some of the roots where all the good mats are. I personally think it is a great idea. Just like Bodywand stated the grind is getting tough. it has nothing to do with what "uber equipment" you have... Abys of Ichor q250 PR mats .. no PVP .. dig all u want same as Undersprings...
besides if u think hard enough about foraging u will find the loopwhole in PR that will allow u to lvl it in any land any season any weather

so its just something Nevrax brought in so we wouldnt ***** about bugs

If it has nothing to do with that then why do people complain so much about harvesters not being attacked when they have other pr regions that they can dig in without PvP. If they do not wan to be attacked then dont dig in the PR regions that have PvP end of story.

OOC Umm Hello? thats like saying if your born in a country where the majority of the people follow the muslim religion that you HAVE to be muslim, and it's impossible for you to follow a different religion. Just because we have members in our guild that were born in a Karavan alligned land doesn't mean they are forced to agree with the karavan philosophy.

Gang bang is not PVP. One on one is PVP, semi-equal group on group is PVP; 20 on 1 isnt. Is it a part of the game? Sure it is, lets just call things for what they are. I'm yet to see PVP in ryzom. Mage vs. Mage; Level vs. Level Mage vs Fighter. Figher or Mage vs Harvester .... the balance is simply not there;

There is virtually no chance for someone 20 levels below to win.

Ahh, figures... something tells me the support raynes is throwing in is to CP (AKA Pro Kami guild) is RP related and has 0 to do with actual PVP. This is my opinion, i could be wrong. I just got to find those posts about melinoe attacking everyone in nexus.
